LEAD 120: American Veterans - Profiles In Leadership **

This variable elective credit leadership course seeks to enhance the understanding and recognition of Veterans' leadership contributions to American society. Veteran issues and resolution of their challenges in a post-Military environment are examined, and their personal leadership styles are explored and researched. Subsequent to classroom discussions focused on Veteran wartime experiences as well as their post-Military adjustments, each student participates in a local community service-learning project focused on learning by personal interaction with America's Veterans. (2 or 3 credits) ($60 per credit).

** These courses have integral to them a mandatory or optional Community Service-Learning Education Project. Please review the course details for additional information, and coordinate your requirements with your local instructor.

High School Students can only register three times a year for these credits and must be 16 years old on the date of registration:

December 1 – January 31 for credits earned during the Fall Semester

May 1 – June 30 for credits earned during their Spring Semester

August 1 – September 30 for credits earned during their Summer Semester
