HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP CREDIT PROGRAM
High School Students & JROTC Cadets nationwide are eligible for college leadership elective credits from Adams State College
the road to college credits
Based upon their completion of each course's requirements and their personal eligibility in a particular Leadership Program, high school students & JROTC cadets are eligible for up to 16 college elective credits while still in high school.

There are several leadership courses any high school student can complete to earn college elective credits. JROTC Cadets have additional college elective credit opportunties by successfully completing their high school JROTC courses. High School/JROTC instructors select up to 16 credits of Leadership electives that best suit their high school Leadership/JROTC program.

These Leadership courses are transferable to any accredited institution with the concurrence of their college/university registrar/admissions office. The courses will only transfer as elective Leadership credits.

Local instructors (JROTC instructors, high school instructors or instructors/leaders of other courses) of these programs, at the end of their particular semester or school year, will provide their RTG & Associates' Instructor of Record ( ) a signed student roster (faxed, or scanned and emailed). That roster will list:
  • Each student/protege's full name
  • Grade earned by each student in each course for which eligible to register
  • Organization/high school/JROTC detachment's identity
  • School/organiztional mailing address, telephone number
  • Reliable school/instructor email address
  • Instructor's name
  • NOTE: Please include Instructor's signature
Students must be 16 years of age on the day of registration. Students are not eligible for registration if they are on local school disciplinary or academic probation, or have not received the concurrence of both their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) and their local instructor for the course.

No student may register for more than 16 credits from the courses listed over the course of their high school career. All students need to inform their local instructor they have registered, once they have been authorized to do so. Former students, now in college, are fully eligible with the concurrence and grades provided by their former high school instructors/mentors.
