Please note: any RTG-related courses used in an undergraduate program cannot be used in a graduate degree program.
Students Opting for the "Non-Degree Seeking" status are expected to decide upon a major within two semesters or less. Enrollment beyond that second semester will not be recognized by the VA. These unique students are strongly encouraged and should be motivated to fulfill all applicable admission/enrollment requirements for the degree sought within their first semester at FHSU.

All degree candidates take 11 graduate courses, which include 6 DOD mandated pedagogy courses (five from distance-learning and one three credit option for either 'new instructor training,' 'instructor recertification training,' or Thinking Maps).
Fort Hays State University (FHSU) is an appropriately regionally accredited institution, as verified at this CHEA.org website: NCA-HLC. All coursework for this degree from FHSU is 100% online. This FHSU degree is VA certifiable for the MGIB and Post 9/11 GI Bill, and is Chapter 31 Voc Rehab eligible.
